Here’s the latest medal count at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.

Another day is wrapping up at the Winter Olympics. Here’s the latest on the medal count.

The United States captured its fourth gold medal of the 2018 Winter Olympics with Shaun White's dramatic win in the snowboard men's halfpipe event. It is the third gold medal for the 31-year old, who also won that event in 2006 and 2010.

White bounced back in a big way from a sub-par performance in the 2014 Sochi games. He also suffered a pretty nasty injury during training in October, but rebounded to win gold with an amazing performance.

The United States has been dominant in snowboarding events. Teenagers Chloe Kim and Red Gerard are two of the country's breakout stars, and captured two of the other American gold medals earlier in the week.

Overall, the Americans have won seven medals. They have four golds, one silver, and two bronze medals.

Norway continues to add to its overall medal lead. The country has 11 overall medals, with three golds.

Germany clings to a lead in gold medals with five, one ahead of the U.S. The Netherlands is also tied for second with four gold medals.
