Lindsey Vonn Stops By ESPN, NBC, CBS During Media Tour For Book

Lindsey Vonn has been making the rounds this week - including stops at ESPN, NBC and CBS - to promote her new book.

Lindsey Vonn, who is a three-time Olympic alpine ski racer with a gold medal in the downhill at the 2010 Winter Olympics, is in the middle of a media tour to help promote her new book. Vonn, one of the most famous female athletes in the world, released a book earlier this week dedicated to strength, fitness and food. It's titled: "Strong is the new Beautiful."

Here's more on Vonn's book:

Olympic Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn wants women to stop thinking about "losing weight fast," and instead focus on loving their bodies for what they are and what they can do. Lindsey is a small-town Minnesota girl at heart turned world-champion skier, but that didn't come without hard work. In Strong Is the New Beautiful, Lindsey lays out the never-before-seen training routines and her overall philosophy that have helped her become the best female skier in the world—tailored for women of all shapes and sizes. Lindsey backs up her fitness program with advice on what to eat and how to work out, and kicks readers into high-gear, helping bolster their self-confidence and build a better body image, with the tips and tricks she's learned as a pro.

Vonn, so far, has made stops on ESPN's SportsCenter (to talk a little Fantasy Football), NBC's the Dan Patrick Show (to arm wrestle one of its hosts) and CBS to chat with Stephen Colbert.

She's also done book signings - including one at Barnes & Noble.

Vonn, who also famously dated both Tiger Woods and J.J. Watt, plans on competing at the next Winter Olympics, despite already being 31 years old.

Vonn's book, if you're interested, was released on October 4. It's available both in print and online.
