The song in the new Samsung Olympics commercial is a hit by rock band The Killers.

It's not quite the Super Bowl, but there have been some big advertising pushes during this month's Winter Olympics on NBC. The new Samsung Olympics commercial is particularly affecting.

The Samsung Olympics commercial, titled "Human Nature," features various people of different ages learning to overcome obstacles and do new things. In it, a baby learns to walk (while being recorded on a Samsung phone, naturally), a young boy gets ready to jump into a pool, and a little girl falls off a bike, only to get right up and ride. Throughout the ad, the stars are told by various others that they "can't" do whatever it is that they are attempting.

The ad finishes with a female amputee learning to walk with a new prosthetic leg. At the end, the tag "Do What You Can't" splashes across the screen.

Here is the full commercial, which you'll probably see a few times every time you tune into the Winter Olympics on the NBC family of networks.

The whole commercial is really tied together by the musical backing, which features The Killers' 2004 hit "All These Things That I've Done." The lyrics from come in at around the 40-second mark, from the bridge and outro of the song.

Here is the full song by The Killers. "All These Things That I've Done" is one of the biggest songs off of the band's breakout debut album Hot Fuss. The official music video has over 41 million views on YouTube.

Hot Fuss was a huge hit for The Killers, and cemented the band as one of rock music's biggest acts of the last few decades. It peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 charts, and has gone 3x platinum with 3,750,000 sales as of 2017.

"All These Things That I've Done" was the third single off of the album. It wasn't the biggest hit for the band, but did hit No. 74 in the Billboard Hot 100, and No. 10 on Billboard's Modern Rock tracks. It has also appeared on a number of "greatest song of the decades" lists.

The band's debut single "Mr. Brightside" is one of the biggest rock songs of the last 15 years, and remains a rock radio staple. It topped out at No. 10 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Top 40 charts. "Somebody Told Me" was also a pretty big single for the band off of Hot Fuss.

The song may be nearing 14 years old, but it definitely fits the inspiring commercial that Samsung has been running during these 2018 Winter Olympics from Pyeongchang, South Korea.
