Tyson Gay's 15-Year-Old Daughter Reportedly Shot, Killed

Tyson Gay's daughter was reportedly shot and killed early this morning.

Trinity Gay, the 15-year-old daughter of United States Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay, was reportedly shot and killed in Lexington, Ky. this morning.

According to WKYT, Trinity Gay was shot during a shootout between two cars at a Cook Out restaurant. Trinity Gay was reportedly not in either of the cars during the time of the shooting.

Lexington police say they responded to a call of shots fired at the Cook Out restaurant on South Broadway just before 4 a.m.

Police say people in two cars exchanged gunfire, then drove away.

Officials say Gay was taken to UK Hospital with a gunshot wound to her neck. Police say she was not in either car.

Tyson Gay, a three-time gold medalist at the World Championships and a three-time Olympian, is reportedly on his way to Lexington.
