Apparently traditional jerseys aren’t cool enough anymore.
Earlier this week, the Golden State Warriors unveiled new short-sleeved jerseys that the team will wear in a February 22nd matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. The NBA team hasn’t even worn them yet and they have already sparked a trend.
Today it was announced the that participants in this year’s McDonald’s All-America game will also be wearing jerseys with short sleeves. Dime Magazine released pictures of the uniforms — the West team will be wearing red jerseys with a hard-to-see spotted pattern underneath, while the East team will be wearing jerseys that appear to be a mix between zebra stripes and camouflage.
Not sure that I’d be a huge fan of the sleeves if I was playing in the game, but as a spectator the jerseys look pretty cool to me. What do you think of the designs and/or sleeves?
