Last week United States Women's National Team soccer star Carli Lloyd took the NFL world by storm.

During a joint practice between the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens, Lloyd showed her range, hitting several field goals including one from 55 yards out.

Immediately after the video of her making the field goals hit social media, fans from around the country suggested an NFL team should give her a shot.

Earlier this week, Lloyd's trainer revealed she received an offer from an NFL club for a tryout.

On Wednesday, the U.S. soccer star said she thinks she could make it in the NFL.

"I think I could do it," she said in an interview. "This is what I do for a living. I thrive under pressure and I think that I'm entertaining the idea and a lot more than when I first did it."

Lloyd certainly has the talent to make an NFL team - just look at the Chicago Bears who could have made the NFL title game with a competent kicker.

The obvious danger is the size of the NFL athletes on the field with her. She addressed that challenge, but said she's up for it.

We'll have to wait and see if the seizes the opportunity.
