Soccer star Carli Lloyd has hinted that she'd like to seriously pursue a career in the NFL. If she's willing, a Hall of Fame kicker has offered his assistance.

This afternoon, 25-year NFL veteran Morten Andersen posted a Twitter video to Lloyd. In it, the NFL's second all-time leading scorer said he wants to work with the USWNT star.

“If you want to know what it’s like to kick in the NFL for 25 years, contact me and I’d love to work with you,” Andersen said. “Go get it.”

Andersen was as good as it gets at the kicker position during his career. He played in 382 games and scored 2,544 points, reaching the Pro Bowl seven times.

Lloyd has a great leg, as evidenced by her decorated soccer career and the fact she was able to hit a 55-yard field goal during a recent Philadelphia Eagles practice. It was that made kick that got all this NFL buzz started.

However, if she wants to hold her own in training camp with an NFL team next year, she's going to have to train extensively.

Maybe Andersen will help her do it.
