During the Women's World Cup last week, a video of United States star Megan Rapinoe saying she won't be going to the “f***ing White House,” if the US wins went viral. Rapinoe has been an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump.

President Trump responded to Rapinoe on Twitter, saying he would invite the USWNT to the White House "win or lose" and adding that Rapinoe "should never disrespect our Country, the White House, or our Flag, especially since so much has been done for her & the team. Be proud of the Flag that you wear. The USA is doing GREAT!"

Even if President Trump does keep up his end of the bargain and invites Rapinoe with her teammates to the White House, it is doubtful that the veteran forward will go, considering how adamant she has been about her feelings on the president.

However, freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also extended an invite to Rapinoe and the USWNT to check out the House of Representatives "anytime they'd like" and Rapinoe has accepted.

"Consider it done," Rapinoe wrote.

It sounds like this invite is also good whether or not the U.S. wins the World Cup, but clearly Rapinoe and company want to bring a title home from France.

The U.S. will take on England in a semifinal match Tuesday. The winner gets the winner of Netherlands-Sweden for the championship.
