The 2019 Women’s World Cup final is set to kick off in less than an hour, with the United States playing the Netherlands at 11 a.m. E.T. on FOX.
Surely, you’re familiar with the star players for the United States, as Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe and others have become household names over the years.
The Netherlands, meanwhile, are led by Daniëlle van de Donk.
The No. 10 Dutch star, who plays for Arsenal, is hoping to shock the world against the Americans this morning.
“I think it’s the best role you can be in,” the star midfielder said. “I don’t think they think we’re that good … I think that is going to be an advantage for us.”
Van de Donk, 27, is confident heading into today’s match.
“We are European champions, not just anyone,” Van de Donk said. “I’m very proud of the team, I’m very proud of the Netherlands and I think we came this far as well because we have such amazing support all the time.”
USA and Netherlands are set to kick off at 11 a.m. E.T.
