A Drew Brees Broadcasting Trade Is Reportedly Possible

Drew Brees could be on the move just one year after joining NBC's football coverage.

According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, the idea that Brees could be dealt or shared with FOX is not out of the question.

"If Joe Buck had stayed, I think that Brees would have had a chance to move from NBC to FOX and be the one with Buck. I think that Buck may have liked the idea of Brees."

This is the second time that Marchand has reported FOX's interest in Brees. His initial report surfaced in February.

The reason Brees isn't in consideration for the No. 1 color analyst role at FOX is because all signs point to Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen replacing Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

Nonetheless, Marchand pointed out that FOX executives like Brees. It wouldn't be a huge surprise to see the former star quarterback on the move at some point this year.
