ESPN Reaches Agreement With Adrian Wojnarowski: NBA World Reacts

ESPN NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski.

Adrian Wojnarowski isn't going anywhere. On Thursday, ESPN officially announced that it signed the award-winning NBA insider to a multi-year extension.

"Millions of NBA fans rely daily on Woj’s distinctive insight and perspective,” said Jimmy Pitaro, Chairman, ESPN and Sports Content, via ESPN Press Room. “He’s accessible to fans through so many ESPN touch points and his tenacity, dedication and presence on social media provide added connectivity. We are thrilled to continue to showcase his exceptional work well into the future.”

Wojnarowski will continue to make appearances on NBA Countdown, NBA Today, SportsCenter and other shows.

Considering Wojnarowski is one of the most popular journalists in the business, the majority of the responses to this contract extension are positive.

"Was rumors of him dipping so good to see," one fan replied.

"I'm actually surprised," another fan said. "Really thought he'd go somewhere else."

Though it's not a huge surprise, some jokes were made about this announcement.

"How did Woj not break this," Avi Wolfman-Arent said.

"Wish Shams could have somehow broken this news," Jabari Ali Davis tweeted.

Wojnarowski has been with ESPN since July 2017.
