Fox Sports broadcaster Joe Buck didn’t disappoint during his appearance on ESPN’s Manning Cast. He joined the Manning brothers for the fourth quarter of Monday night’s matchup between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots.
At one point during Buck’s time on the show, Peyton Manning asked him if he ever wishes he could have a guest on FOX when he’s calling a blowout game.
Buck’s response to Manning’s question was truly epic.
“Yeah you l know the last time I thought about that was when you guys played Seattle in the Super Bowl,” Buck replied.
Manning couldn’t help but laugh at that response. For those who don’t remember, the Seahawks dismantled the Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII by a final score of 43-8.
The Broncos had one of the best offenses the NFL has ever seen heading into that game, but the ‘Legion of Boom’ shut them down at MetLife Stadium. Manning struggled mightily against the Seahawks’ defense, throwing two crucial interceptions.
Overall, the responses to Buck’s comment on Manning Cast were very positive. Some fans never knew that he was capable of dishing out a joke like that.
This was really good from Joe Buck 😂 https://t.co/fTBMA1Wn61

Buck might come off as a serious person while on air for FOX, but he has shown in the past that he knows when to loosen up.
Hopefully, this isn’t the last time we see Buck and Manning joke around with each other on national TV.
