Look: Paige Spiranac's Best Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Photos

Paige Spiranac on social media.

Over the past few years, no current or former golfer has grown their brand on social media like Paige Spiranac.

The former professional golfer turned sports media personality has over 3.3 million followers on Instagram and another 534,000 on Twitter. Spiranac, who played collegiately at the University of Arizona and San Diego State University, also doles out betting advice for nearly every golf tournament.

While her accomplishments on the course are many, she might be doing even better off the course. Just a few years ago, she posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Spiranac made it clear landing SI Swim was a "dream."

“I’ve been a fan for such a long time and I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would get the opportunity to be a part of the SI Swimsuit family. I get chills every time I think about it. So yes, it’s still that hard to believe and I’m still in disbelief!” she told SI Swim.

While she may be confident in herself now, she didn't always have that internal strength.

“I had a lot of health issues growing up,” Paige said. “On top of the hair condition, I had asthma and bad social anxiety. I was one weird little kid. So I know how it feels to be an outsider, how it feels to be bullied, to have no friends, to be that person no one wanted around.”

Thankfully, she's found herself along the way.

Spiranac is hardly the first and not the last athlete to grace the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Others like Alex Morgan, Ronda Rousey, Lindsey Vonn, Sloane Stephens and many more have also done the shoot.
