The 2019 NFL draft took place earlier this spring, just over one month ago. In the time since the draft, most of the picks in the draft have signed with their new teams.
However, just over a month later, one NFL team still hasn’t signed any of its draft picks.
According to a report from Pro Football Talk, the Los Angeles Rams are the lone team left in the NFL to not have signed any of their picks.
But there is a reason.
PFT said this is a normal occurrence for the Rams:
They typically wait until the end of the offseason program and sign all of them in one fell swoop, with the goal of not distracting them from the pre-preseason effort to get up to speed with their new place of employment. Even if they technically are employed for free, until they sign.
Other notable players yet to be signed are No. 2 overall pick Nick Bosa, No. 3 Pick Quinnen Williams and No. 6 pick Daniel Jones.
Bosa’s older brother, Joey Bosa infamously held out after the Los Angeles Chargers drafted him. He eventually signed with the team in late August before being named the Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Stay tuned for future updates.
