Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon is one of the bigger names who could be moved before Tuesday's NFL trade deadline. A couple of teams in need of running back help have been linked to the former Wisconsin star.
ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler is reporting that the Lions and the Bills have been mentioned as possible destinations for Gordon.
Gordon held out for the start of the regular season, seeking a new contract, though the Chargers didn't bite. He returned to the team earlier this month.
Los Angeles could loosen its asking price from teams before tomorrow's deadline.
"Some around league have linked Lions and Bills to Melvin Gordon. Both teams could be in the market for RB help, and Gordon would make sense if Chargers loosen asking price," Fowler reports.
The Chargers have some nice depth at the running back position, so it could make sense to move on from Gordon before he potentially leaves in free agency.
The NFL's trade deadline is set for 4 p.m. E.T.
