Aaron Judge Taken To Hospital After Getting Hit By Pitch

The New York Yankees have been in the news lately for their recent acquisitions to the pitching staff. However, during tonight's game against the Kansas City Royals, the team received from scary news.

Star slugger Aaron Judge was taken to the hospital after getting hit by a pitch early in the game. Judge remained in the game for a few more innings before leaving to receive an MRI.

The outfielder was hit near the wrist and was looked at by the training staff before eventually heading to the hospital. Judge will get an MRI on the wrist/forearm area to determine the extent of the damage.

Judge has been a star for the Yankees ever since his call-up in 2016. In two full seasons with the Yankees, Judge has been an All-Star in both seasons.

This year, Judge is slashing .285 with 26 home runs and 61 RBI.
