One of the most highly-touted NFL prospects in the nation has announced his 2022 draft decision.
On Thursday, Alabama’s superstar offensive tackle Evan Neal revealed his plans to forego his senior season in Tuscaloosa and enter his name into the 2022 NFL Draft.
Neal, a 6-foot-7, 350 lbs All-American, is projected as a possible No. 1 overall pick in this year’s class.
“It’s been a hell of a ride Bama nation! Now it’s on to the next chapter. Roll tide forever!!” Neal wrote in his announcement on Twitter.
“Playing football at the highest level was always my goal and to be able to do that at The University of Alabama has been a dream come true… After discussing with my parents and family, I have decided to forego my senior season and declare for the 2022 NFL Draft. Thank you to every single person who supported me during my time at Alabama.”

The Jacksonville Jaguars currently hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 draft. And after selecting quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1 overall pick last year, the team could very well be looking for some improved pocket protection in this year’s class.
