Five days ago, the United States Women’s National Team took down the Netherlands by a final score of 2-0 to win back-to-back Women’s World Cup titles.
Star midfielder Megan Rapinoe knocked home the go-ahead goal on a penalty kick.
In the days since the win, the USWNT celebrated their title with a parade in New York City. The team traveled down the Canyon of Heroes as confetti flew down from the buildings above.
Two players never left the city after the celebration. Rapinoe and star forward Alex Morgan continued their media tour this week.
The pair made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where Kimmel took a slight jab at President Donald Trump.
Kimmel gave Rapinoe and Morgan similar welcome the Clemson Tigers received from the White House after their national title win over Alabama: fast food.
The late night show host shelled out for 5,000 chicken nuggets as a gift for the USWNT stars.

It’s a not-so-subtle shot at Trump. The USWNT is not expected to make the customary visit to the White House after winning the World Cup.
Rapinoe and President Trump exchanged words on social media and in interviews during the World Cup. It appears there’s no love lost between the two.
