Amari Cooper has said all along that he didn't want to leave the Dallas Cowboys. Now, it's official.

The former Oakland Raiders first round pick, who was traded to Dallas midway through the 2018 season, has reportedly made his free agency decision. Cooper is re-signing with the Cowboys.

The Cowboys wide receiver was expected to receive major interest on the free agency market. Teams like the Eagles and Patriots, among others, were mentioned as potential landing spots.

Cooper has loved his one-plus seasons in Dallas, though, and he clearly wanted to stay put. And, according to multiple reports, he will be.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reports that Cooper will sign a five-year, $100 million deal to remain with the Cowboys.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport has confirmed the news. Cooper is remaining with the Cowboys.

Cooper reportedly turned down "significantly" more money from the Washington Redskins in order to stay in Dallas.

Cooper has been one of the most-productive wide receivers in the NFL since joining the Cowboys. Dallas now has both its star wide receiver and its star running back locked up on longterm deals.

The team has yet to reach a longterm agreement with its quarterback, Dak Prescott. However, both sides reportedly remain committed to making a deal happen.
