Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown took to Instagram Live on Friday afternoon with a message for his followers – suggesting that within 24 hours, he’d be part of a new team. So far, no deal has been reported.
In the clip, which you can watch here, one of Brown’s friends jokes that the Pittsburgh wide receiver is “already” wearing black and grey – implying that the Oakland Raiders are the new team. But there’s been no confirmation just yet on such a deal.
Friday night, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette dropped an update – reporting that there are three teams “still alive” for Brown’s services. He did not name the three teams involved.
Dulac reports the Steelers are “close” to getting a deal done. Of course, that doesn’t offer any kind of timeline.

Thursday night, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Buffalo Bills had struck a deal to land Brown. But a few hours later, he backed off the report. Brown reportedly had no interest in playing for the franchise.
It’s still possible that Brown winds up staying in Pittsburgh – if the Steelers aren’t able to find a suitor. But that likely isn’t what either side wants at this point.
We’ll keep you updated on Brown’s situation.
