Arch Manning Names 3 Major Coaches He’s Spoken With

Peyton Manning and his nephew, Arch Manning.YouTube.

Arch Manning, the most recent in a line of great Manning quarterbacks, is currently the No. 1 ranked QB in the 2023 class.

With his combination of talent and pedigree, Arch has been a highly-sought-after recruit for quite some time now — earning a five-star designation and a No. 3 2023 overall player rank, per 247Sports composite rankings. Over his past two seasons at Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans, the talented young QB has thrown 340/515 for 4,360 yards, 55 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

With these stats and accolades, college coaches from top programs across the country have come knocking. Arch, son of Cooper and nephew to Peyton and Eli, named some of the most notable coaches he’s spoken with so far.

According to 247Sports, Manning has chatted with Texas, LSU and Alabama, among other schools.

“I’ve been talking with a bunch of coaches,” Manning said, via 247Sports National Analyst Steve Wiltfong. “Coach (Steve) Sark(isian) at Texas, Coach (Jake) Peetz and Coach (Ed) O(rgeron) at LSU and I’ve gotten the opportunity to talk with Coach (Nick) Saban too. Really all those guys are good at what they do and they’re great to talk to and it’s just been great to get the relationships and bonds already.

“I just really love building a relationship. Really getting to know all of the coaches is important to me.”

With two years of high school still remaining for Manning, he’ll have plenty of time to continue building these relationships.
