North Carolina basketball fans are pumped to see Armando Bacot take the big screen as a guest character on the upcoming season of the popular Netflix show "Outer Banks."

On Wednesday, the Tar Heels' star big man took to Instagram with some photos and videos of he and the cast on set in Charleston, South Carolina.

Bacot will appear in a few episodes of the show's third season as "Mando," per Ross Martin of InsideCarolina.

The college basketball world took to Twitter to react to this news.

"Greatest thing to happen to Netflix," one fan wrote.

"My favorite athlete in my favorite show wow," another added.

"Outer Banks" is a teen action/adventure series set on the beaches of North Carolina. In the show's first season, the main characters infamously traveled to landlocked "Chapel Hill" by way of ferry.

"They could get real UNC basketball players on the show, but couldn’t use UNC’s campus in the first season," one fan pointed out.

One of the show's co-creators, Josh Pate, graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1992.

Last month, Bacot announced his highly-anticipated decision to return to Chapel Hill for his senior season. As a likely preseason ACC Player of the Year candidate, the double-double machine will serve as a valuable focal point for the National Championship runners-up in 2022-23.
