In case you missed it, the Cleveland Browns selected a quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. The team selected Baker Mayfield with that pick.
Since then, Mayfield has reportedly failed to beat out Tyrod Taylor for the starting quarterback spot. Now, that's not an encouraging sign, but it's important to note Taylor has been successful during his three years as the Buffalo Bills starting QB.
He has a top-10 quarterback rating over the last six seasons, which could explain why Mayfield hasn't been able to beat him out.
However, Colin Cowherd is questioning the former Oklahoma stars size. After a report said Mayfield "did not look ready to compete" with Tyrod Taylor, Cowherd suggested he should not have been the No. 1 pick.
Mayfield didn't take kindly to Cowherd's tweet and responded in kind.
At just over 6-feet tall, Mayfield won't be confused with the tallest quarterback in the NFL, but he's certainly not the smallest.
Russell Wilson and Drew Brees have found plenty of success in the NFL, despite their stature.
We'll have to wait and see if Mayfield can make a splash on the field.
