Baker Mayfield Makes NFL Regular Season Debut

Cleveland Browns quarterback Tyrod Taylor has had a rough start to the game against the New York Jets. Taylor left the contest after suffering what looks like a head injury.

Taylor's helmet struck the ground after a sack and he immediately left the field and went to the medical tent. After a brief time in the tent with trainers, Taylor left the field with trainers and went to the locker room.

Former Oklahoma star and No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield is now in the game as a result of the injury to Taylor.

His first two NFL regular season throws were complete and the Browns are now moving down the field.

If Taylor's night is over, he finished the contest 4-of-14 passing for just 19 yards through the air. He was also sacked three times on the night.

Cleveland currently trails 14-3 just before the half. It will be interesting to see if Mayfield comes out to start the second half as well.
