Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield went viral on Instagram this week for his "walk-on" post that went up on Friday.
"Just some undersized Walk On... Keep that same energy," he wrote.
Mayfield's post garnered more than 250,000 likes and thousands of comments. Many of those comments, unsurprisingly, were critical.
Emily Mayfield, the wife of the Browns quarterback, defended her man in the comment section.
One fan wrote in the comment section that Mayfield's wife had the quarterback worrying too much about his "brand," while his attention needs to be on the football field. Emily Mayfield had a perfectly sarcastic response. "Biiig problem right here,"

Another fan wrote, "Win football games. That speaks louder than these AB (Antonio Brown) style posts."
Emily Mayfield reacted to that one, too. "Brutal lol," she wrote with some laughing emojis.
It's been a big year for the Mayfields, as Baker enters Year 2 of his Cleveland Browns era. Earlier in the summer, the happy couple got married.
Baker and the Browns, meanwhile, are set to play the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon. Cleveland, 1-2, is very much in need of a win.
The Browns and the Ravens are set to kick off at 1 p.m. E.T.
The game will be on CBS.
