Another Pittsburgh Steeler shared his grief over the passing of Dwayne Haskins on Saturday. This time it was recently retired quarterback Big Ben Roethlisberger.

The QB posted posted a message to his Twitter account Saturday night, written by he and his wife, Ashley.

"I only had the privilege to know D-Hask for a short time," Roethlisberger began. But in that time I got to meet a young man that didn't seem to ever have a bad day. He came to work everyday with a smile on his face and energy and love in his heart."

"... Wish we had more time together on this earth, but I will cherish the time and the laughs we had!" Ben continued. "I'll say it again just like I told you to your face, I still wish I could throw the ball like you!! Love ya pal. 7." The Roethlisbergers also shared a brief message to Haskins' widow, Kalabrya. "We want to you to know we are praying for you and with you. ... You are an amazing woman of faith and we trust you will get through this. Love, Ben and Ashley."

Haskins was tragically killed in South Florida after being struck by a dump truck while walking on the highway. The 24-year-old was pronounced dead early Saturday morning, leaving many at a loss.

From all of the messages pouring in from his fellow athletes, it appears Haskins was somebody his teammates really took a liking to.

He will be missed.
