The New England Patriots will have a different kind of coaching staff for the 2022 NFL regular season.

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick announced on Monday morning that his team will not have an official offensive or defensive coordinator for the upcoming season..

Unsurprisingly, Belichick admitted that he isn't a big fan of titles.

"I'm not big on titles," he admitted.

NFL fans aren't very surprised.

"Since the title is up for grabs and no one else will get it, I would like to formally announce that I will be the new Offensive Coordinator for the 2022 New England Patriots season. The spot is officially filled. No one else may claim it," one fan joked.

"Hilarious move by Belichick," one fan added.

"Hasn't this happened before? If so, I'm not gonna make a big deal out of this," one fan added on Twitter.

The Patriots are coming off a Wild Card round loss to the Bills.

New England will look to contend again in the AFC East in 2022.
