It’s hard to find another broadcaster more charismatic than Bill Walton, and that narrative held true last night. During the Pac-12 Tournament, the legendary UCLA alum had Twitter buzzing due to one interesting decision.
The Ducks and the Sun Devils went to overtime to settle this semifinal matchup as Ehab Amin hit a clutch three-point shot to tie the game. With the two programs heading for more action, Walton thought it’d be the perfect time to take a quick bathroom break.
Although Walton didn’t spend much time at the restroom, he still left his partner David Pasch alone in the broadcast booth. In fact, he didn’t get back on the call until nearly a minute into overtime.
Obviously nobody is blaming Walton for taking care of business, yet it seems like only he can pull it off.

Many would argue Walton walking back to the booth meanwhile the players are literally on the court stole the show.
This isn’t the only notable moment from yesterday, as Walton was entertaining fans with his commentary.

Moving over to the game itself, the Ducks continue their underdog run to the conference championship. They’ll face the Washington Huskies for an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
We’ll see if Walton has any others tricks up his sleeve for this upcoming contest.
