Russell Westbrook and his treatment of the media has been a major talking point this NBA postseason. The Oklahoma City Thunder’s star point guard has mostly refused to answer questions from one prominent Oklahoman reporter.
The reasoning for this – at least according to the reporter – is unclear.
In the grand scheme of things, it’s probably not a major issue, but it’s still prompted many within NBA circles to call out Westbrook for his behavior. Some believe the league needs to get involved, too.
Not all NBA superstars are like this, of course.
Take Blake Griffin, for example.
The Detroit Pistons’ star forward had the final press conference of his 2018-19 season today, following a first round loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Once it ended, Griffin shook the hand of every reporter in the room and told them to have a good summer.

That’s a nice way to cap a season.
Griffin ended his first full season with the Pistons averaging 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game.
