Earlier this month, Aaron Rodgers finally ended his year-long will he/won't he saga with the Green Bay Packers, agreeing to a longterm contract extension.

After a year of trade rumors, Rodgers ended up staying where he's been his entire National Football League career.

While some in the NFL world are mixed on his decision - especially following the Davante Adams trade - Brett Favre stands firm in his decision.

Favre believes Rodgers is right where he belongs.

“I assume that Aaron’s objective is to get to the Super Bowl. I think most people would assume that as well,”

"His best chance to get to the Super Bowl has been in Green Bay the last two years."

Hall of Famer @BrettFavre said he wasn't surprised Aaron Rodgers decided to stay with the @Packers.

">Favre said. “That being said, his best chance to get to the Super Bowl has been in Green Bay the last two years. They’ve written the script the way they’ve wanted it to look and they didn’t finish it. Home-field advantage, a bye, a prolific offense, their defense was playing well. Why deviate from that?”

Rodgers' Super Bowl hopes might have taken a hit with the Davante Adams trade, but the Packers should remain contenders in the NFC moving forward.
