Bruce Arians continues to push back on the narrative that there was something wrong with his relationship with Tom Brady.

Over the weekend, the recently retired Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach revealed that Brady actually gave him a very nice gift.

Brady apparently gifted Arians a $50,000 watch.

“It’s a $50,000 watch,” Arians said, per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. “He says he’s bringing it to me. Who does that if we hate each other? As soon as he’s back in town, we’ll play golf.”

Arians knows the narrative likely won't be going away.

“It’s never going to go away, no matter what anyone says,” Arians said. “It’s a national narrative that they think they know, but they don’t.”

The Buccaneers are now led by head coach Todd Bowles, who took over for Arians following the head coach's surprise retirement.
