Five-time NFL Pro Bowler Cameron Wake apparently plans on playing in 2020.

Saturday night, it was reported that Wake, 38, was planning on retiring. The longtime NFL linebacker has been playing professionally since 2005.

News of Wake's planned retirement was reported by WEEI in Boston. The report has since been denied by his agent, though.

"As Cam’s agent, I can tell you this is simply not true. Cameron is playing this season and we are actively engaged in conversations with teams," his agent tweeted.

Wake, a first-team All-Pro in 2012, spent the 2019 season in Tennessee. He was a member of the Miami Dolphins from 2009-18.

The five-time Pro Bowler was undrafted coming out of Penn State in 2005.

Wake has 364 career tackles, 100.5 sacks and 22 forced fumbles in 11 NFL seasons.
