Kyler Murray trade rumors have been floating around all offseason. However, Cardinals GM Steve Keim made the team's plans for its franchise quarterback clear on Thursday afternoon.

Keim told reporters today that there is "zero chance" the Arizona Cardinals trade Kyler Murray ahead of the 2022 season.

It sounds like Arizona is committed to the former college football star for the longterm.

Kyler Murray has improved each year he's been in the NFL. His quarterback rating has improved from 87.4 to 94.3 to 100.6 over three years.

Last season, Murray led the Cardinals to an 11-6 record and a trip to the NFC Playoffs. The fun stopped there.

The Los Angeles Rams dominated the Cardinals in a 34-11 NFL Wild Card round blowout. Murray had one of the worst performances of his football career, combining for just 143 yards and two picks.

Murray reportedly grew frustrated during the offseason that he became the main scapegoat as to why the Cardinals lost. It's that frustration that ultimately led to the trade rumors.

The latest news indicates Murray and the Cardinals are improving their relationship, though. And the fact Arizona is verbally expressing its commitment to the young star is notable.
