Brooks Koepka has won three major championships and is in the running for his first Masters this weekend. However, he still isn’t immune to announcers screwing up his name.
We’ve seen Verne Lundquist especially have issues with it. Last year at the PGA Championship, he mispronounced Koepka and called the young golfer ‘Bruce’ instead of Brooks.
Unfortunately, ‘Bruce’ Koepka made another appearance on Sunday morning. When Brooks stepped to the tee on the sixth hole, Lundquist messed up his name again.
He did quickly correct himself and say Brooks at least.

“Uncle Verne” is a broadcasting legend and its really cool that he still does the Masters even after retiring from broadcasting college football and basketball for CBS.
However, you can see as he’s gotten older, he’s more susceptible to making mistakes like this.
The final round of the Masters is ongoing. The competitors got an early start this morning due to inclement weather in the area.
You can watch on CBS.
