No NFL player is happier with their team's first round selection on Thursday night than Dak Prescott, as his Dallas Cowboys added another elite offensive weapon.

Dallas was stunned when Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was still on the board at No. 17 overall. Jerry Jones did not hesitate to make Lamb a member of the Cowboys.

Lamb, arguably the best wide receiver in college football in 2019, will add another dynamic level to an already deep Cowboys offense. It'll be fun to see him playing alongside Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Ezekiel Elliott.

The former Oklahoma star is ready to get to work with Prescott. That won't be able to happen right away, of course, thanks to the global pandemic. But eventually, Lamb and Prescott will link up.

“He's definitely going to get an ultimate competitor,” Lamb told ESPN. “A guy that's willing to learn and can't wait to get used to helping him look like a better quarterback and he's helping me look like a better receiver.”

If everyone's healthy, the Cowboys offense should be scary good in 2020. All that is left to do is to give Prescott the longterm contract he deserves.

The NFL Draft will continue with the second and third rounds on Thursday night. They'll air on ESPN and the NFL Network.
