Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon hasn't been with the team for months, as the former Wisconsin star seeks a new contract, though that is reportedly about to change.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that Gordon is set to end his holdout and report to the team.

Gordon will reportedly be reporting on Thursday. He reportedly will not play this week.

"Melvin Gordon is, in fact, reporting to the team tomorrow. He won’t play this week, but he is planning to be back in the fold with his teammates," he reports.

Gordon has sat out the first three games of the 2019 NFL season after missing all of training camp, holding out for a new contract.

The Chargers have gone 1-2 without Gordon on the field, beating the Colts in Week 1 before losing to the Lions and Texans.

Los Angeles is set to play at Miami on Sunday.
