American soccer star Christian Pulisic got the start for Chelsea on Saturday and immediately made sure that the move paid off. Pulisic scored his first goal for the squad in the 21st minute of the contest.

Pulisic, who hadn't started a game since back on August 31, found the back of the net with his left foot on a beautiful unassisted goal. He gave Chelsea a 1-0 lead on Burnley in the process.

Pulisic has struggled through his first few months with Chelsea, so this is a huge deal. Many believe that he has a ton of potential for the Blues.

Pulisic's goal comes just a few days after he had the game-winning assist against Ajax in their Champions League match.

Here's the goal, via NBC. Pulisic celebrates wildly after seeing it get past the keeper.

Chelsea, at the moment, sits in fourth place in the Premier League table - behind just Liverpool, Manchester City and Leicester City. A win would help them keep pace.

Pulisic played for Borussia Dortmund from 2016-2019 and was signed by Chelsea this past offseason.
