The Cleveland Browns hype train is rolling at full speed entering the 2019 NFL season.
After trading for Odell Beckham Jr., the Browns are one of the biggest bets in Vegas to take home the Lombardi Trophy. With Baker Mayfield back for his sophomore season, Cleveland fans finally have something to look forward to.
However, despite the team’s bright future, one player wants off the ship.
Earlier this year, running back Duke Johnson publicly stated he wanted to be traded from the team. Weeks after making his voice heard, he remains on the team.
Johnson took steps to make sure the Browns organization understands he’s serious. The running back fired his agent and signed with Rosenhaus Sports, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Browns’ RB Duke Johnson signed today with a new agent, @RosenhausSports, per source. Johnson still is expected to seek a trade; keep in mind, Rosenhaus helped facilitate a trade for the Browns and his client, Emmanuel Ogbah, and got Breshad Perriman out of his deal in Cleveland.

Johnson also reiterated his desire to be traded from the team.
Cleveland drafted former Georgia star Nick Chubb in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft. Chubb emerged as a legitimate NFL running back in his rookie season while Duke Johnson received little playing time.
The team then acquired Kareem Hunt – who is serving a lengthy suspension to open the season. That left Johnson on the outside looking in and he made it clear he wants a fresh start somewhere else.
