LaVar Ball’s Junior Basketball Association kicked off this summer. Comprised of eight teams, the JBA gives players the chance to earn money before attempting to make the NBA.
The league hasn’t received much publicity, other than the fact that LaVar’s two youngest sons, LiAngelo and LaMelo, are now playing for the Los Angeles squad.
That changed on Thursday night, however, after a coach made headlines for shoving a player. Each coach has a different way of motivating his/her players, and this coach decided his player needed to toughen up.
Chicago Ballers head coach Edward Denard got into a heated incident with a player. He ended up yelling at, and shoving, Montrell Dixson.

Denard even wound up bumping heads with Dixson as the two went to the bench before calling him a “b***h.” The team went on to lose 115-97 at the hands of the Seattle Ballers.
The JBA is in its inaugural season.
