Colin Cowherd Is Not Buying The Tom Brady Rumors

Colin Cowherd on The Herd.

Colin Cowherd isn't high on Tom Brady coming out of retirement.

Brady retired from the NFL a few weeks ago after playing in the league for 22 seasons. His career came to an end against the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Round in January, 30-27.

Cowherd spoke on The Herd on Tuesday afternoon and tried his best to put these rumors to bed.

"The order isn't I'm going to retire and two weeks later, going play for the 49ers," Cowhers said. "So Brady retires, stories come out that he wasn't happy at the end which Bruce Arians refutes, and now I am supposed to believe the most prepared and detailed athlete of my life is just going to throw a haymaker out and come out of retirement? It makes no sense."

Brady spent two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after spending the previous 20 with the New England Patriots.

He won seven Super Bowls during his playing career, six of which came with the Patriots.

Quarterback-hungry teams will likely have to find someone else to go after during the offseason.
