Colin Kaepernick hasn't played in the National Football League since 2016, but the free agent quarterback is interested in a comeback.
The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback has been working out with various NFL wide receivers this offseason, hoping to land a contract with a team.
According to Kaepernick's trainer, as many as five NFL teams have shown initial interest in the free agent quarterback.
One team is standing out, though.
The Seattle Seahawks have been seen by many as the favorite to sign Kaepernick, if he does end up back in the National Football League.
Kaepernick has spoken with the Seahawks and he says he is waiting on the chance to play for the NFC West franchise.
Seattle could be an ideal landing spot for Kaepernick, as they traded All-Pro quarterback Russell Wilson this offseason.
The Seahawks say they are confident in Drew Lock moving forward, but Kaepernick could provide some nice depth at the position.
