A college football player is reportedly in serious but stable condition following a shooting on Saturday morning.
A Washington State wide receiver was reportedly shot early on Saturday morning.
Brandon Gray has reportedly been hospitalized following a shooting in Pullman on Saturday morning. The school and police confirmed the news on Saturday night.
“We are aware of an incident involving WSU football student-athlete Brandon Gray that occurred last night in Pullman,” Pat Chun, Washington State director of athletics, said in the release.”Brandon was transported to a Spokane hospital where he is in serious but stable condition.”

Police reportedly responded to a call shortly after midnight on Friday. There was reportedly a party with more than 200 people in attendance. Gunshots were reportedly heard at the party and two males were reportedly found with gunshot wounds.
One victim, Liban Barre, reportedly died at the hospital. Gray reportedly remains at the hospital in serious but stable condition.
Washington State lost to Utah on Saturday.
“I have so much respect for this team for how they played, I know we didn’t win, I know we weren’t great, but for them to go out and play as hard as they did with the news they got this morning about their teammate—I think it’s a tribute to their character,” Nick Rolovich said.
