No NBA player has had a better start to 2020 than Damian Lillard. The Portland Trailblazers star point guard has been setting the league on fire.
Unfortunately, Lillard appeared to suffer an injury during Wednesday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The All-Star point guard left the game with an apparent injury in the second half.
Lillard appeared to suffer a lower-body injury late in the second half. The All-Star point guard came up limping on a drive to the basket. He seemed to be tending to his groin.

That does not look great. Hopefully, it’s nothing too serious.
Thankfully for the Blazers, they have the All-Star break coming up. Portland has more than a week off before its next game on Feb. 21 vs. New Orleans.
This could result in Lillard missing at least the All-Star Game, though. He was drafted onto Team LeBron.
The NBA All-Star Game is set for Sunday evening. It’ll tip off at 6 p.m. E.T. on TNT.
Portland has yet to announce an injury update for Lillard. We’ll provide any details on the injury when they’re available.
