Late Thursday night, fans watching the Summer League received a taste of what Grayson Allen was like in college.
The former Duke Blue Devils star routinely found himself in the headlines for his on-court behavior. He was back at it Thursday night, getting ejected in the fourth quarter of the Memphis Grizzlies contest against the Boston Celtics.
Allen tangled up with former Tennessee star Grant Williams earlier in the game for his first flagrant foul. He then swung down hard on a shot from Williams, hitting him in the head and earning his second flagrant foul and ejection.
After the second hard foul, NBA and college basketball analyst Dan Dakich – who was on the call – ripped Allen.
“Get him out of the game. I’m telling you…we didn’t see the whole thing. It started with a back screen, just get him out of this game now…He didn’t like the back screen and now he gets the chance to take a cheap shot and he takes it,” Dakich said on the broadcast.

Allen has a history of tripping players during games in college.
He appeared to have grown since those Blue Devils days with his first few years in the league. However, the old Grayson Allen came right back and Dakich was none too happy.
