Danica Patrick retired from NASCAR last year, but in the time since, she hasn't slowed down when it comes to building her brand. Thursday, she announced her latest venture - going as far as to call it her "next job."

Patrick, in addition to posting health and wellness videos, has announced that she's launched a podcast. It's titled the Pretty Intense Podcast and the first episode will be released on August 22.

In the Instagram video below, Patrick reveals some of the guests, which include A-Rod and Neil deGrasse Tyson. She seems pretty pumped about the whole thing.

Patrick says that this in indeed her "next job." We imagine that doesn't mean she'll stop all of her other business ventures, however.

Finally!!!!!!!!!! Launching the Pretty Intense Podcast next Thursday August 22nd!!!!!! We will release one every Thursday after that.
When people ask me what my favorite show has been so far, honestly, it’s impossible to pick. I have found my next job. One that have to put “air quotes” around because there isn’t anything I don’t enjoy about it. 🤔....... ya, nothing.
Please check out this trailer and then go to my Apple podcast icon to listen to the full version complete with clips from some of the interviews.
So grateful for how life has evolved and transitioned for me. I hope you enjoy what I am up to these days. 😉

Here's the post and video:

Patrick, after an IndyCar career, competed in NASCAR for seven years, claiming seven top 10 finishes. She's been a trailblazer when it comes to women competing at the top level for both sports.

We'll see if her podcast gains any traction. Regardless, she seems to enjoy doing it.
