Former NFL running back Darren McFadden has reportedly received a short jail sentence after pleading guilty to a drunk driving charge.

McFadden, 32, was reportedly involved in an incident with police in January 2019. Police reportedly found McFadden asleep at the wheel in the drive-thru of a Whataburger in Texas. McFadden reportedly resisted the officers when they confronted him.

The former NFL running back reportedly took a plea deal in order to have his resisting arrest charge dismissed. The result: A four-day jail sentence with one day already served.

According to TMZ Sports, McFadden also has to pay fines and fees. His driver's license has been suspended for 90 days, too.

McFadden starred collegiately at Arkansas before heading to the NFL. He was the No. 4 overall pick by Oakland in the 2008 NFL Draft.

The running back had two 1,000-plus yard seasons in the NFL. He rushed for 1,157 yards and 7 touchdowns with the Raiders in 2010. He had 1,089 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns with the Cowboys in 2015.

McFadden has not played in the NFL since 2017.
