A few minutes ago, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Washington Wizards are trading Marcin Gortat to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Austin Rivers.

After the trade, questions about another Clippers player started to circulate. Will DeAndre Jordan remain with the club, or will he head to a new team for the upcoming season?

Jordan has until Friday to decide if he's going to opt into the final year of his contract with the Clippers. Opting into that contract doesn't necessarily mean Jordan will be in Los Angeles for the 2018-19 season, though.

Marc Stein of the New York Times, reported that the Dallas Mavericks are interested in acquiring Jordan.

With a big man heading to Los Angeles (Gortat), many are taking that as a sign that Jordan is likely headed elsewhere.

The 29-year-old center could also opt-out of his final year with the Clippers and enter free agency. He'll have three days to decide what he wants to do.

The NBA offseason is just getting started.
