Friends and family members paid tribute to former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins this weekend.

Haskins, who died while trying to cross a highway in Florida last Saturday, was honored with multiple memorial services.

His wife held a memorial service in the Pittsburgh area. It was attended by the likes of Urban Meyer, Mike Tomlin and Ryan Shazier, among others.

However, Dwayne's parents were not there.

That's a bit odd, but Haskins' parents opted to hold their own memorial services in New Jersey and Maryland. Dwayne's parents held a service on Saturday in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where Haskins was born and raised, and there is one Sunday in Potomac, Maryland, where he grew up and attended high school.

Our thoughts continue to be with Dwayne's friends and family members during this difficult time.

May he rest in peace.
