The Golden State Warriors have yet to issue an official injury update for Kevin Durant, but the latest insight from ESPN’s Doris Burke doesn’t sound promising.
ESPN’s NBA Finals sideline reporter revealed at halftime that the Warriors have yet to release any information for Durant’s injury due to how raw it is in the locker room.
Durant is in the locker room with his agent and the Warriors GM, Bob Myers, according to ESPN.
Burke reported that the Warriors aren’t releasing anything right now “because of the raw emotions” they’re giving him “some space.”

Hopefully, the injury is not as serious as it looked, but the early signs are not great.
Durant had missed a month of action before returning to the court tonight. He suffered a calf injury in the Western Conference Semifinals against Houston.
This might have been the last time we’ll see Durant in a Warriors uniform, as he’s set to hit free agency this summer.
The Warriors, meanwhile, are leading the Raptors by six points at halftime of Game 5.
Stay tuned for more updates on Durant. We’ll provide them when they’re made available.
