The Houston Rockets haven’t shied away from expressing their desire to dethrone the Golden Warriors. On the flip side, Draymond Green won’t stop throwing shade toward his team’s biggest rivals.
Last night, the Warriors were victorious in their matchup against the Rockets without Kevin Durant. Golden State continues to have Houston’s number in recent years, and Green wasn’t going to let that go unnoticed.
Green is famous for his trash-talking ability just as much as his actual play on the hardwood. Well, the All-Star forward once again had more than a few words to share about the Rockets following the game.
Regardless of all the chatter surrounding the rivalry between the Warriors and the Rockets, Green said “I’m not sure stupidity juices anyone.”
His comments were in reference to the many people who believe Houston can knock off Golden State this upcoming postseason.

It’s very possible that the Rockets and the Warriors meet again in the playoffs as both teams are clearly contenders. However, it’ll be hard to envision the defending champions losing this postseason due to all the firepower on their roster.
We’ll see if the comments Green made during his postgame media session will spark any animosity from Houston for the next meeting.
